About Us

Our History

The Battle Run Fire District was formed in 1984 (Formerly, the Prospect Fire Department formed on October 24th, 1872). The district covers 34 square miles consisting of Prospect and Thompson townships, including the Village of Prospect.

    BRFD Pancake Breakfast - June 20th, 2026

     We had a great turn out for our 1st BRFD Pancake Breakfast! It was great to see our community and thank you all for your continued support of our department! 

    A big thank you to Community Christian Fellowship for allowing us to use their space!
